Cheshire Home Prices Span $80,000 to $195,900 in Four Recorded Sales
The Northern Berkshire Registry of Deeds recorded 15 Cheshire property transfers between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, but only four carried a sale price so far, ranging from $80,000 to $195,900 with a median of $115,000. The top recorded sale was 174 Wells Rd. at $195,900 on Sept. 9, sold by Ezra Holland to Greylock Federal Credit Union. Eleven of the 15 entries listed a bank, credit union or mortgage-servicing entity as buyer or seller, and most transfers in this period have not yet posted a price in registry records, leaving the bulk of the month's market activity difficult to size by dollar value alone.
