Cheshire records 17 deed transfers in August, led by $1.07 million Lake Shore Drive sale

Cheshire recorded 17 property transfers between July 31 and Aug. 29, with prices disclosed in seven. Disclosed sale prices ranged from $30,000 to $1,065,600, with a median of $336,000. The month's top transaction was 150 Lake Shore Dr., which sold for $1,065,600 before a same-day deed transferred it back to the original sellers. Financial institutions, including Greylock Federal Credit Union and Adams Community Bank, appeared as buyer or seller in more than half of all recorded deeds, and several properties changed hands twice within the period. With most transactions lacking a disclosed price, this snapshot reflects only what the registry recorded, not a full picture of market conditions.
