Cheshire's priciest deed tops $318,000 as most recorded sales go undisclosed
The Northern Berkshire Registry of Deeds recorded 16 property transfers in Cheshire between July 17 and Aug. 15, but only eight disclosed a sale price. Among those, prices ranged from $628 to $318,750, with a median of $6,263. The month's top sale was 206 Shadowland Cove Road at $318,750, sold by William C. O'Donnell to D Mortgage LLC and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. Five transactions listed the town of Cheshire as buyer at prices under $8,530, and four listed Greylock Federal Credit Union as seller with no price disclosed. With half the dataset lacking price data, the period's market tone cannot be fully assessed from the available figures.
