Cheshire deed filings surge to 16 in past month, but just five sales carry disclosed prices
Cheshire had 16 recorded deeds between July 24 and Aug. 22, but only five disclosed a sale price, ranging from $50,000 to $1,065,600 with a median of $330,896. The period's top sale was 150 Lake Shore Dr. at $1,065,600, sold by Tara and David Strassburg to Adams Community Bank. All five disclosed sales list a bank, credit union, or mortgage company as buyer, and several addresses, including 140 Fred Mason Rd. and 812 West Mountain Rd., were recorded more than once. With most filings lacking price data, the period's overall market direction cannot be determined from deed records alone.
